All ponies and animals we bring to events are vaccinated before deployment and assessed individually for child-appropriate temperament. We re-evaluate each animal regularly, not just at the start of the season. We have maintained these vaccination and temperament standards. The length of time we've operated without incident is itself a safety record.
An experienced handler is present and actively supervising every animal interaction at all times. No child is left in unsupervised contact with any animal at any event. Our handlers are trained specifically for working with children at live events in residential and community settings. The business carries appropriate liability coverage for all events we service.

How Group Bookings Work With Us
On the day, the A Pony Party crew arrives, sets up, and runs the full operation. Rides, encounters, crowd management, and breakdown are all handled by our staff. The organizer doesn't need to coordinate participants or manage the animal interaction at any point.
Space and Setup Requirements for Larger Events
Pony rides and trackless train rentals require a flat outdoor surface. For pony rides, plan for a minimum circuit area of 40 by 40 feet. Petting zoo setups need at least 20 by 20 feet of flat ground. A staff member conducts a site assessment on arrival and advises on the safest configuration for your available space.
